Serving Underground and Alternative Communities
As ever increasing housing costs have become uncoupled from wages the gulf of poverty is ever widening. This has the effect of geographically pushing poeple out of our community. We seek to counter this community dispersion by connecting individuals with currently available programs as well as devoloping our own.
For better or worse drug and alcohol use is part of our world. We want to make this as safe as possible for members of our community that indulge in these substances, but also create a safe and supportive enviroment for people who no longer wish to partake either by choice or recognition of an underlying problem.
Society at large is woefully under equipped to deal with the overwhelming need for mental health support. We will provide such tools as meditation, fellowship and eventually wish to make trained therapists available to all who seek help.
